Everytime I do a newborn photo session, I am reminded of what an incredible time of life this is. Cherish these early years…they go by in a flash. My boys are 6 and 8 and their newborn days seem like a lifetime ago. But I love that in my job I get to relive the wonder of the newborn stage…
Only 6 days young for his photo session, this beautiful boy was so comfortable being held by his father that we decided to capture the moment. This sweet girl’s middle name was decided moments before we arrived for the session. Her parents met in South Africa…they decided on the middle name of “Outeniqua,” which is a mountain range there. The name means “the land of the honey gatherers” and by the looks of this sweet little face the name is just perfect.

We broke it all out for this one year old…balls, bubbles, planes, even flipping monkeys! (And I mean monkeys that flip…) I met this boy for the first time one year ago, when I did his newborn session. I said he was beautiful then, and he’s only gotten more so…

This little boy arrived just before Thanksgiving and gave his family something extra to be thankful for! He is just precious and so beautiful I had to share a few of my favorites so far… Mom looks radiant and I just love the last shot of the two of them together.
