I wuv you, too… | Children’s Photographer | Bergen County, New Jersey

comment here

OK…so being the mother of two boys, I was TOTALLY in my comfort zone for this session…chatting up Thomas the Tank Engine and testing my knowledge of Star Wars trivia.  Also, mom and I had the “Polish connection” because even though I have the Italian last name, I am mostly Polish and proud of it!  But most importantly, look at these faces.  Can’t get much cuter, can it?  Older brother totally reminds me of Robert Redford…he is so handsome!  And well, when you see mom and dad you know where they get their looks from.

This little guy and I had so much fun together that when I was leaving he said, “Bye-bye…I  wuv  you.”   Melt!   Doesn’t get much better than that for me!

Here is just a sneak peek for you guys…more to come!

Holiday Boutique…

I am exhausted after a full day, but just wanted to say thanks to all the people who came to visit me at the Ridgewood Holiday Boutique.  It was a great time and for a great cause (the YWCA’s Rape Crisis Center).  I met some wonderful people and some talented artists.  Here is a picture of the display we had up…  Now off to catch up on some sleep….zzzzzzzz.

I think I mentioned before that I am participating in the YWCA Ridgewood Newcomers Holiday Boutique being held next Thursday, November 19th. I still haven’t decided what promotion I’ll be running, but it’ll be a good one!   I’ll be announcing it soon.  I’ve also spent all week getting my display ready and am so excited…

Bear Mountain on a Whim… | Children’s Photographer | Rockland County, NY

Bear Mountain has some of the most spectacular sunsets and best vistas in our area.  On this beautiful 70º Sunday in November, we thought we’d dress the boys up and head there for some Christmas card photos.  The thing is, we left a little late, almost missed the sunset AND  realized our gas tank was on empty (I mean, empty) half-way up the mountain.  Did we turn back?  Heck no!  We had light to catch!  About 15 minutes worth. The pressure was on and here’s a bit of what we got….

The happy ending… we coasted all the way down the mountain (in neutral) til we found a nearby gas station.  There we rewarded ourselves with ice cream and chips!  :)

…both the children and the location could not have been any more gorgeous.  Even the weather cooperated, after it seemed like the rain would never dry up.   I love how these children were dressed – especially the bows in the girls’ hair.  And Central Park of course is filled with beautiful scenery and details.  Here are a few favs…

Cousins… | Child & Family Photographer | Bergen County, NJ

A family of five is a lot to shoot in one session…but I have to say, these guys made it easy.  Two sisters and the three brothers; easy and fun to work with and each one is cuter than the next.  Check out THESE fresh faces!  Aaaah… to be young.
